Avocado Sunscreen

This is my first time using it, and I’m really impressed! It has a lovely scent and is super easy to use.

Love love love it! The texture is so soft and lightweight. You may need to blend well as it has a bit of white cast. Bottle is also easy to carry.

I was surprised to read some good comments here because I couldn't find anything to brag about this SS. I tried this a few times upon purchase when it first launched and didn't like the feel & finishing of it much. It leaves a heavy whitecast, and can look quite greasy on the skin. After just a few tries, I can’t seem to pump out anymore product. I thought it was finished (so quick!) until I tried it again recently. To me, it seemed like the product was too viscous to be used in a pump style bottle, because I had to press it so hard to just pump a little amount out. So to test it again, I tried it on my hands, but even after trying to blend it for a few minutes I wasn't able to remove the cast. I hope Joi can improve the packaging and formula so that it is easier to pump out, apply more smoothly and doesn't leave an oily look and heavy whitecast. Perhaps I just got a bad batch, IDK. For the price, it is not worth it at all.

I had to buy a second bottle of Avocado Sunscreen too soon, when the bottle didn't pump out anymore sunscreen. I thought, "finish already? That was quick!" While waiting for my second bottle to arrive, I've decided to cut the bottle horizontally to check if it's really finished. I found out the hardened sunscreen got accumulated at the neck of the bottle. I strongly believe this is due to the bad choice of packaging. Somehow during the storage, the liquid sunscreen went up there and got hardened. I strongly suggest JOI to do something about it. Perhaps change to a tube packaging sooner. Because I know I wont be buying it anymore or recommend it to anyone. Thank you.

It does not make my face oily and leaves a rather matte finish, even when I sweat. The application is smooth and I do not require a big amount to cover my face and neck. It also does not leave white cast on my face after application.

Feel safe to apply this for snorkeling, no issue when applied on face. Texture a bit sticky, slightly hard to spread but so far ok

The consistency is too thick + it feels a bit streaky ?? it's just not the easiest to apply compared to other sunscreens I've used. It also leaves a white cast and it feels sandy. there's a strong smell that I'm not a fan of and a bit sticky like when you have a sweaty face. The only thing I can praise about this product is its packaging, I love that it's a pump so it wouldn't be very messy + minimalistic. Will just apply on my body and don't think I'll be repurchasing.

I really wanted it to work but it didn’t. Idk how are the others not getting a white cast, but I definitely had a white cast when I applied the appropriate amount of sunscreen (which means it has to be more than one tiny pump), and generally the texture is quite thick as well.

Spreadable and naturally tone up the skin.

Overall easy to apply and no appalling smell. The white texture of the sunscreen did take a while to absorb into skin after applying though. Other than that, it's good to go.

Tried for the first time, it works well on my skin and the texture are not oily.

For the price it's value for money. It's quite creamy and like a previous review says, need time to pat or rub it in to not have white streaks. But it stained my shirt when I was sweaty during a workout.

The sunscreen felt sticky, even after leaving it on for awhile, so personally I don’t like to use it on my face but on my body it’s still okay

Tried twice already. Very light texture, good as makeup base. No weird smell or sticky feeling after use like other natural uv cream brands. So far so good. Cant comment on long term use since just use it twice.

I bought face oils, toner and cleanser.
Was initially curious about new local products but i am amazed with the results 🥰

I don't know why, but the product has a sandy texture. If feels like im using a scrub which is not suitable for my sensitive skin. So this one is not for me

I give this sunscreen a try and love it! It gives a nice tone to my skin and does not leave white patches on the skin. It is also not oily. With this price, its on par or better on the high end brand sunscreen.

Sunscreen is quite moisturizing, but too thick to apply without making you look like a geisha after application. Not looking forward to using it again after the first try. Need to reduce the viscosity of the sunscreen to make it easier to apply on the face without tugging the skin. The price is also quite expensive for a 30ml bottle.

Need time to let the sunscreen to blend into the skin. But my skin feel healthy after the sunscreen

1st time trying this sunscreen ,and im lovin it.non sticky,suitable for my oily face.the smell a bit funny, but its okay.

I meet the problem of mud generation after apply sunscreen, luckily Joi has tell me the problem due to application of enzyme serum. I have changed to use the enzyme serum only at night and problem solved. Fall in love with the avocado smell and it does not have the chemical smell like normal sunscreen in the market, which is unpleasant. This sunscreen really does not leave white cast on my face. Love it so much, will repurchase !!!

I love how it blends well to cover my face. Not sticky and it smell just nice. Avacado is my favourite so definitely I reslly excited to finish and repeat soon!

Will definitely purchase again 😊
