Smell quite strong for me

The only reason why I'm giving the product 3 stars is mainly due to the smell, unfortunately. While the product works well, the scent needs more work as it reminds me of toilet cleaners (i.e artificial lemon-like zest smell). Good thing the scent isn't strong when applied so it's not noticeable. Again, hope the Joi team considers doing more R&D with the scent.

I bought 3 different versions of Joi deodorant, somehow only this Cypress & Sandalwood one leaves white stains on my clothing.
And I don't like the smell. Good thing is that the smell went away few minutes after applying.
Mint, Lavender and Rose smell nice.

Ive been using the rose scented one for over a yearr and works wondersss and its lightened my underarms too!! Wanted to convert my husband to a joi deodorant user but the smell was kinda unpleasantttt sighhhhh maybe i got a bad batch?

This one I had to give it to my son. He enjoyed using this and loved the scent. Odour was controlled the whole day.

I've been using joi deodorant for 1 year now. I've been meaning to write a review since the first bottle but it keeps slipping from my mind. Sorry! Old age haha.

I've always had issues with deodorants due to my over active pits, and I finally found the one that works for me!

No more clogged pores, no more stanky pits! I still sweat, which is a good thing, but the sweat has also reduced a lot! The deodorant works well to neutralise the odour too, even after a whole day out.

I found out the hard way to not use anti bacterial soaps with this deodorant. It seems like the anti bacterial layer also kills the probiotics in this deodorant, making it lose its effectiveness.

I have tried all except the sensitive skin on, and sandalwood is hands down my favourite. Wife loves both rose and lavender, and opted for the rose for the subscription.

Hope to have more options in the future!

I am a woman but I love this scent!! But the formula takes a bit of a time to dry- but as it dries, everything is okay! I will buy more from them

I bought this for my husband who often sweats a lot during work. This is by far the best one because as advertised it leaves no stain on the shirt. And it lasts the entire day keeping the body odourless. I love its scent too. It has a manly scent but not overly strong. Truly one of the best things I've given to my husband.

Hi I just want to highlight that the new packaging for the deodorant is not good as the surface is so rough and it hurts the skin.

Unfortunately I don't like it it doesn't agree with me won't be ordering it again

Roller has some issues, apart from that it’s decent!

I expect it to be more of a woody scent but Im smelling somewhat of a coconut smell which I dont really prefer. The smell stick to the cloths and now I cant re-wear some on my cloths

This is great. I usually use unscented or fragrance-free deodorant, I was afraid I won't like the smell. But with this sandalwood and cypress, I can live with it.

I'm been using deodorant for overs 15years everyday and i try plenty of deodorants in the market. I found Joi deodorant with sandalwood scent which is my favourite scent. Im so surprise with the lightweight texture and it wont stain on my shirt with white stuff. So far this is the best deodorant i ever use before. Thank you Joi and definitely i will purchase again.

I especially prefer this when i go for run & hike. This is my 3rd time purchasing Joi. It works & m loyal to those who took care of me. LOVE❤️

Aight, here’s my review.

I’m a malay dude, with overly active armpit sweat glands. My pits can sweat in like -2° weather.

So how does Joi fair against my pits in humid Malaysian weather? Beautifully. Reduced stank (basically gone), reduced sweating. RM 39 is a steal for the results. Literally have to start buying new clothes, cause old deodorants ruined them.

And I bought the Cyprus & Sandalwood scent. It smells like how I imagined how the Spice from Dune would smell like. Which is pretty good.

Ladies, buy it for your men if they got that dank underarms. Gentlemen, buy it. Piece of advice… shave yo pits, or trim it at least. Works better.

Recommendation for Joi: make a scentless one. I’d buy in bulk. Heck, you could sell it to people going to Umrah or Hajj.

Conclusion: 10/10 would by again. Shave your pits.

Love if coz woody smell suit for men. Looking forward for stick deodorant type for more options.

This is my third time purchasing a deodorant with Joi. I've never tried anything else after Joi. I don't think I will ever change or try any other brand for deodorant ever again. This scent is okay I guess. Not my favorite. But the plus side is it doesn't smell strong at all. So it's suitable for those who don't prefer scents on skin products.

I’ve tried them all. Joi is the only one that really works.

I have been using JOI deodorant since last year, I have tried Lavendar, Rose and the recent add on was the Sandalwood. I love the woodiness touch, it is not overpowering and goes really well on my skin. My all time favorite is Rose and now will include the Sandalwood. Thank you for the quick delivery and keep up with the good quality products. I am one of your highly satisfied customer. It will be nice to see some good perfume range on your product list.

Deodorant is very good at what it does, however the smell is a bit too strong for me so if you prefer lighter smelling products this may not be for you

IMO, the scent is not exactly sandalwood. Other than that,it is very good solving my body odour problem.

I was very impressed with this product. Those who haven't try, please do so. You'll fall in love.

I truly loved this scent. I tested the first time by using it to sleep. Lasting scents,will definitely repeat order

I’ve always been a user of branded deodorants for men e.g. Armani, CK etc and have never found a comparable replacement for them. I was a bit skeptical when I came across Joi but thought I’d take the route to #supportlokal. I’m glad I did, though it didn’t have the fragrance I’m so used to, it was surprisingly gentle and easy yo roll on. Only thing I think needs improving is the packaging, the material used doesn’t feel premium and not to environment friendly. I hope to see improvements on the packaging and will try other variants.
